Walker Joe Warren

Mr. Walker Joe Warren, age 90, of Hurricane Mills, TN, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017, in the Humphreys County Nursing Home in Waverly, TN. Mr. Warren was born November 28, 1926, in Humphreys County, TN, to Monroe Walker and Mose Ella Laird Warren. He was a United States Air Force veteran, having served during the Korean War. Mr. Warren was a member of Buffalo Methodist Church in Hurricane Mills, TN. He was a retired School Teacher for the Humphreys County Board of Education and taught for 27 years before retiring in 1986. He was a Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite, and a Shriner. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, March 11, 2017, from 4-8 p.m. and Sunday, March 12, 2017, from 11 a.m. until funeral service time at 2 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Pastor Thad Collier will be officiating the service.
