Mrs. Laura Imogene "Jean" Travis age 85, of Waverly, TN passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Travis was a caregiver for the elderly and a member of the Methodist Church. She is survived by her:Son Jay Travis, Jr. of Waverly, TNSister Elsie Yates of Cleveland, TNSeveral nieces and nephewsShe is preceded in death by her:Husband: James Edward Travis, Sr. Parents: Fred and Evie ArnoldBrothers: Claud, Harris, Martin Forrest and William ThomasSisters: Jewell Christine Arnold and Gladys Marie SmithVisitation with the family will be Wednesday January 11, 2017 from 10:30am until 1:00pm. Memorial service for Mrs. Travis will be Wednesday at 1:00pm at Luff-Bowen in Waverly with Bro. John Johnson officiating.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to assist with expenses.
