John Thomas Kilburn

Mr. John Thomas Kilburn, age 88, of Waverly, TN, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly. Mr. Kilburn was born September 26, 1928, in Waverly, TN, to John Garland and Florence Gordon Kilburn. He was married to Betty Lee Hamm Kilburn. He was a retired Foreman for the Humboldt Water & Sewer Dept. and was a former Police Officer for the City of Waverly Police Dept. and a Deputy for the Humphreys County Sheriff's Dept. Visitation with the family will be Friday, December 30, 2016, from 2-8 p.m., and Saturday, December 31, 2016, from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 2 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Bro. Wayne Nelson will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Wyly Cemetery in Waverly. Active pallbearers will be Larry Kilburn, Sr., Timmy Kilburn, Richard Kilburn, Larry Kilburn, Jr., Johnny Kilburn, Jr., and Jeff Kilburn.
