Sarah Hatcher Davis Kemp

Mrs. Sarah Viola Hatcher Davis Kemp, 89, died Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at Lakeshore Meadows Senior Community in Nashville. Born in McEwen, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late D. A. Hatcher and Ruth Hatcher. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Clay Davis, her second husband, Aubrey Kemp, and by eight brothers and sisters. Mrs. Kemp retired from McCracken County Health Department, Paducah, Kentucky. She was a member of the Bellevue Church of Christ.Surviving are: son, Gerald (Debbie) Davis; daughter, Janice (Gary) Webber, two stepsons, William (P.J.) Kemp and Russell (Sharon) Kemp; three grandchildren, Kellie Lowther, Carrie Homeyer, and Timothy (Rachel) Davis; three step-grandchildren, Stephen Kemp, Preston Kemp, and Spencer Kemp; four great-grandchildren, Austin Hollingsworth, Abigail Hollingsworth, Tucker Lowther, and Jackson Lowther; brothers John, Jim, Robert, Edwin, and Dorsey; sister Vivian; and many nieces and nephews.Visitation will be Monday, December 19, 2016, at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly from 10:30 a.m. until funeral service time at 11:30 a.m., with Bro. Miles Cotham officiating.
