Clifton James Patrick, Sr.

Mr. Clifton James Patrick, Sr., age 89, of Waverly, TN, died Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, in Signature Healthcare of Erin in Erin, TN. Mr. Patrick was born October 27, 1926, in McEwen, TN, to Clarence Hiram and Azilee Gertrude Smith Patrick. He was married for 66 years to Margaret Geneva Wheeler Patrick, who preceded him in death by one day, on September 25, 2016. He was a member of Mt. Zion Pentecostal Holiness Church in McEwen,  where he was also a Trustee. He was a World War II United States Navy Air Corp Veteran. He was a farmer and a retired Maintenance Supervisor for Conalco in New Johnsonville, TN. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016, from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Pastor Kent Curtis will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in McEwen, TN.  Survivors include: Children: Margaret Ann Patrick Robbins (James), Waverly, TN Clifton Patrick, Jr., Cookeville, TN 3 Grandchildren: Clifton Patrick, III “Trey”, Ryan Blake Patrick, and Jarred Seth Patrick  1 Brother: L.
