Hillard Dwayne Curtis

Mr. Hillard Dwayne Curtis, age 79, of McEwen, TN, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at his home. Mr. Curtis was born May 14, 1937, in McEwen, TN, to William Jones and Mary Lucinda Hooper Curtis. He was married to Geraldine Pace Curtis. Mr. Curtis was a retired Foreman for R. C. Mathews Contractor in Nashville, TN after 20 years of employment. He served 12 years in the Tennessee National Guard. He loved fishing and was an outstanding person to help others in need. He enjoyed being a carpenter and working with his hands. Visitation with the family will be Friday, September 9, 2016, from 5-8 p.m., and Saturday, September 10, 2016, from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen. Bro. Spencer Davidson of Erin, TN will be officiating the service.
