Clady "Ruth" Baker Woods

Mrs. Clady "Ruth" Baker Woods, age 86, of Waverly, TN, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016, in Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly. Mrs. Ruth Woods was born June 26, 1930, in Waverly, TN, to Ernest Nobel and Louise Mulliniks Baker. She was married to Millard Edward Woods. She was a retired Rural Letter Carrier for the Waverly Post Office. Mrs. Woods was a member of the Waverly Church of Christ and the Rural Letter Carriers Association. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, September 3, 2016, from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Bro. Waddell Lee and Bro. Wayne Woods will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery in Hurricane Mills, TN. Active pallbearers will be: J. V. Stribling, Jake Stribling, Eugene Scott, Heath Hatcher, Scott Atkinson, and John Owens.
