Mrs. Levonia Gertrude Pruett Gwin, age 92, of Waverly, TN, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016, in Centenniel Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Gwin was born June 24, 1924, in New Johnsonville, TN, to Robert L. and Lizzie Pearl Scott Pruett. She was married to J. W. Gwin. She was a member of Spann Church of Christ in Waverly, TN. She was a retired Inspector for Acme Boot Company in Waverly. Visitation with the family will be Monday, August 15, 2016, from 4-8 p.m., and Tuesday, August 16, 2016, from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 11 a.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Bro. Jeremy McFarlin will be officiating the service.
