Buddy Joe Thompson

Mr. Buddy Joe Thompson, age 74, of New Johnsonville, TN, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016, in Three Rivers Hospital, in Waverly, TN. Mr. Thompson was born April 7, 1942, in Milan, TN, to Raymond Butler and Peggy Mallard Thompson. He was married to Sara Elizabeth Pickard Thompson. He was a member of New Johnsonville United Methodist Church. Mr. Thompson was a retired Maintenance Mechanic for E.I. DuPont in New Johnsonville, TN, and an avid fisherman. Visitation with the family will be Monday, July 25, 2016, from 4-8 p.m., and Tuesday, July 26, 2016, from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 11 a.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Bro. Joe Rhodes will be officiating the service.
