David Allen "Dike" Banes

Mr. David Allen "Dike" Banes, age 90, of McEwen, TN, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016, in Life Care Center of Centerville in Centerville, TN. Mr. Banes was born October 10, 1925, to James E. and Lillie Pearl Smith Banes. He was married to Ruth Palk Banes. He was a retired carpenter, Deacon and a member of McEwen church of Christ. Visitation with the family will be Monday, July 18, 2016, from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m., and Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen. Bro. Lee Banes, Bro. Jim Suddeath, and Bro. Hoby Grace will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Meadowlawn Cemetery in McEwen, TN.
