Tase Sturgill

Mr. Martin Tase Sturgill, II, age 49 of Burns, TN passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly. Mr. Sturgill was the Training Officer and Jail Administrator for the Humphreys County Sheriff’s Office. Many may have known Tase as the instructor of the handgun carry permit classes. Tase is also the former Chief of Police for the City of Burns, TN.   He is survived by his: Wife: Debbie “Rosie” Sturgill of Burns, TN Children: Jillian Rose Cunningham  Sydney Camille Cunningham  Braden Parker Bryson Brianna Marie Bryson Sister: Katherine Sturgill Nephew: William Young, II Niece: Kaitlin Doron He was preceded in death by his: Parents: Mary Jean and Martin Tase Sturgill Visitation will be Friday July 1, 2016 from 5-8pm and Saturday from 10-2pm at Hurricane Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in McEwen, TN. Funeral service for Mr. Tase Sturgill will be at 2pm at Hurricane Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in McEwen, TN conducted by Pastor Tim Farris.
