Agnes Ann Bridges Pitchford

Mrs. Agnes Ann Bridges Pitchford, age 88, of New Johnsonville, TN, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016, in St. Thomas Hospital West, in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Pitchford was born December 26, 1927, in Wallonia, Kentucky, to L. L. and Rosa Cordelia P'Pool Bridges. She was married to Clyde Eugene Pitchford. Mrs. Pitchford was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She was a retired Library Assistant at Lakeview School in New Johnsonville. She was a 60 year member of OES # 153 Hustburg Chapter, former Treasurer of Eastern Star, Wee Blows Leader, Cub Scouts Leader, Brownie Leader, and Girl Scouts Leader. Visitation with the family will be Friday, June 24, 2016, from 1-8 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Saturday visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 11 a.m., at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 8863 Old State Route 1, New Johnsonville, TN. Pastor Edward J. Britt will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery in New Johnsonville.
