Mrs. Wilmoth "Dean" Long Smothers, age 74, of Waverly, TN, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016, in Waverly. Mrs. Dean Smothers was born September 23, 1941, in McEwen, TN, to James Walter and Thelma Christine Hudson Long. She was married to William Wayne Smothers. She was the Owner/Stylist of Dean's Cut N Curl in Waverly. Mrs. Smothers will be cremated at her request. Graveside service and burial of cremains will be at the Holladay Cemetery in Holladay, TN, on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at 1 p.m., with Bro. Billy Buttrey officiating. Following the burial of cremains, the family will receive friends and a meal will be served at the McEwen Church of Christ at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the McEwen Church of Christ Food Pantry and Coat Give-A-Way Funds.Survivors include:Daughter: Janet Dale Greenwell Saint, Russellville, AL2 Grandchildren: Kristen Kimbrough Gargis, Ford City, ALBlain Lee Saint, Russellville, AL3 Great Grandchildren: Maddie Grace Parker, J.
