Mrs. Wilmoth "Dean" Long Smothers, age 74, of Waverly, TN, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016, in Waverly. Mrs. Dean Smothers was born September 23, 1941, in McEwen, TN, to James Walter and Thelma Christine Hudson Long. She was married to William Wayne Smothers. She was the Owner/Stylist of Dean's Cut N Curl in Waverly. Mrs. Smothers will be cremated at her request. Graveside service and burial of cremains will be at the Holladay Cemetery in Holladay, TN, on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at 1 p.m., with Bro. Billy Buttrey officiating.
