Frances Fleer Clark, 83, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on March 11, 2016, at Gentiva Hospice in San Antonio having been surrounded by her family. Visitation will be held at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, Tennessee at 11 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2016, followed by graveside services at 1 p.m. in Wyly Cemetery in Waverly.Frances was born in Waverly, Tennessee on October 27, 1932, to Ella Mai Phillips and Henry W. Fleer. After her marriage, she lived in Abilene, Texas much of her life and moved to Ozark, Missouri in 1989. She and her husband, James Harvey Clark, recently moved to New Braunfels, Texas to be close to family.Frances retired from Bank of America in Abilene, Texas before moving to Ozark, Missouri. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Ozark, and she loved spending time with friends and family. She was always enthusiastic about traveling, playing games, cooking, caring for her flowers, and watching birds on the deck. She was loved by friends and family and will be missed immensely.Frances is survived by her husband of 65 years, James Harvey Clark, as well as her daughter, Cara of Gig Harbor, WA, son, Joel (Desda), of New Braunfels, TX, granddaughters, Emily, of Kansas City, MO and Kayla, of New Braunfels, TX, great grandson, Kaison, and several extended family members in Waverly, TN. Frances was preceded in death by her parents.
