Linda Dyer Parker

Mrs. Linda Dyer Parker, age 72, of Hurricane Mills, TN, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Parker was born November 3, 1943, in Waverly, TN, to Carlos Augusta and Lucille Bone Dyer. She was married to Alan Kent Parker. Mrs. Parker was a retired School Teacher after 35+ years, for the Waverly Jr. High School in Waverly, TN. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, January 23, 2016, from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Bro. Jeremy McFarlin will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Dyer Cemetery in Hurricane Mills, TN. Active pallbearers will be: Larry Webb, Darrel Walker, Joe Dreaden, Barton Bone, Donnie Baker, and Harris Hooper.
