Clarence Elbert Humphrey

Mr. Clarence Elbert Humphrey, age 59, of McEwen, TN, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016, at his home. Mr. Humphrey was born June 24, 1956, in Cleveland, OH, to Elbert and Ellen Wilson Humphrey. He was married to Lori Leigh Smith Humphrey. He was a member of the House of Prayer in McEwen, TN. Mr. Humphrey was a Plant Manager for Matheson Tri-Gas in New Johnsonville, TN. He was the former Owner of Humphrey Taxidermy, an avid fisherman, loved working on his old trucks and old tractor, and a Sunday School Leader for the Humphreys County Nursing Home. Visitation with the family will be Monday, January 11, 2016, from 5-8 p.m., and Tuesday, January 12, 2016, from 11 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN. Rev. Tony Curtis will be officiating the service. Interment will follow on the Humphrey Farm in McEwen.
