Michael Wayne "Hippy" Patterson

Mr. Michael Wayne "Hippy" Patterson, age 61, of McEwen, TN, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, TN. Mr. Mike "Hippy" Patterson was born August 7, 1954, in Waverly, TN, to Robert Henry "Buddy" Patterson, Jr. and Margaret Virginia Durham Patterson. He was a graduate of Waverly Central High School. Mike was employed as a Maintenance Man for Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly. He was an avid outsdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and just sitting by the creek. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, November 24, 2015, from 3-8 p.m., and Wednesday, November 25, 2015, from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 11 a.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Rev. Richard Hughes of Alabama will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN.
