David "Pety" Junior Buchanan

Mr. David "Pety" Junior Buchanan, age 88, of Waverly, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015, in the Waverly Health Care Center in Waverly. Mr. Pety Buchanan was born December 16, 1926, in Hurricane Mills, TN, to David Franklin "Tink" and Mollie Delilah Batton Buchanan. He was married to Myrtle Avis Summers Buchanan. He was a member of Bascom United Methodist Church in Waverly. He was a retired Letter Carrier for the United Postal Service in Waverly and was a lifelong resident of Humphreys County. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, November 5, 2015, from 4-8 p.m. and Friday, November 6, 2015, from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 10:30 a.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Rev. Joel Nulty will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN. Active pallbearers will be David E.
