Peter James Rogers, I

Mr. Peter James Rogers, I, age 75, of Eva, TN, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015, in St. Thomas Hospital West, in Nashville, TN. Mr. Rogers was born April 13, 1940, in Bangor, Maine, to Edgar James "E.J." and Janet Estelle Winchell Rogers. He was married to his college sweetheart, Betty Ann Earley Rogers. He was a retired Park Ranger for the Department of Enviornment and Conservation with the State of TN. Mr. Rogers attended Husson College in Bangor, Maine and was an avid lover of wildlife. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Maine, Anah Shriner, and a Red Cross Instructor. The family has chosen cremation and no local services will be held. Burial of cremains by his loving family will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Bangor, Maine, at a later date.
