Mrs. Edith Rebecca Curtis Smith, age 92, of Waverly, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at her home. Mrs. Smith was born April 5, 1923, in Waverly, TN, to Charlie Clayton and Sallie Gould Lescure Curtis. She was married to Billy Edward Smith. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, July 8, 2015, from 4-9 p.m., and Thursday, July 9, 2015, from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 11 a.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Rev. Tony Curtis will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the McKeel Cemetery in Waverly, TN.
