Carl "Doc" Gerald Long, Jr.

Mr. Carl "Doc" Gerald Long, Jr., age 75, of McEwen, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at his home. Doc Long was born February 12, 1940, in McEwen, TN, to Carl Gerald, Sr. and Bessie Jo Winstead Long. He was married to Betty Louise Stewart Long. He was a self-employed businessman, a member of the McEwen church of Christ, and the McEwen Lions Club. The family has chosen cremation. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, June 30, 2015, from 10 a.m. until memorial service time at 11 a.m., at the McEwen church of Christ. Bro. Jim Suddeath and Bro. Sammy Long will be officiating the service.
