Mrs. Ernestine Morris Pleasant, age 88, of New Johnsonville, TN, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015, in the Humphreys County Nursing Home in Waverly, TN. Mrs. Pleasant was born September 23, 1926, in Hustburg, TN, to Ernest Thomas and Thelma Opal Herndon Morris. She was married to James Troy Pleasant. She was a member of the Hustburg Church of Christ and a retired Secretary for Holland Contractors, Inc. in Waverly. She loved cooking and baking for her family and friends. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, April 14, 2015, from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday, April 15, 2015, from 11 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Bro. Mickey Miller and Mayor David Vaughn will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery in New Johnsonville, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Hustburg Church of Christ or to the Alzheimer's Association. Survivors include: Son: Ronald Pleasant (Sandra), New Johnsonville, TN Daughter: Mavis Vaughn, Hurricane Mills, TN 5 Grandchildren: Michael Pleasant, Emily High (Brent), Chad Vaughn (Nicole), Crystal Morrow, and Kyle Vaughn 7 Great Grandchildren: Houston and Hunter High Caroline, Catherine, and Claire Vaughn Donovan and Dane Morrow Preceded in death by: Husband: James T.
