James Boyd Meacham

Mr. James "Jim" Boyd Meacham, age 79, of New Johnsonville, TN, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015, in Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN. Mr. Meacham was born June 12, 1935, in Hustburg, TN, to Jake and Sally Ann Bogard Meacham. He was a lifelong resident of Humphreys County, a retired Construction Worker, and a member of the New Johnsonville Church of Christ. He was an avid University of Tennessee at Knoxville fan. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, April 8, 2015, from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Visitation on Thursday, April 9, 2015, will be from 11 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Bro. Joe Rhodes will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Jackson Cemetery in New Johnsonville, TN.
