S J Brazzle

Mr. S J Brazzle, age 92, of McEwen, TN, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015, at Waverly Health Care Center in Waverly, TN. Mr. Brazzle was born September 10, 1922, in McEwen, TN, to James Armstrong and Pearl Lucille Forsee Brazzle. He was married to Reva Mai Simpson Brazzle. He was a farmer, a lifelong resident of Humphreys County, and a member of the Waverly church of Christ. He was a United States Army World World II veteran. Mr. Brazzle was a 60+ years service member of the Farm Bureau Association, the Humphreys County Fair Association, and the Humphreys County Co-op Board member. Visitation with the family was Monday, April 6, 2015, from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday, April 7, 2015, from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 11 a.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Larry Hayes was the Song Leader for the congregational singing during the service. Bro. Gary Massey, Bro. Jeff Keele, and several family members officiated the service. Interment followed in the Anderson Cemetery in McEwen, TN. Active pallbearers were Carl Brazzle, Steve Brazzle, Ed Greenwell, Michael Simpson, Carey Simpson, and Garry Simpson.
