Mr. Douglas Eugene Sanker, age 72, of Dickson, TN, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015, in Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mr. Sanker was born March 24, 1943, in Burns, TN, to Carl Eugene Sanker and Gladys Sizemore Sanker. He was a retired construction laborer. Visitation with the family was Sunday, April 5, 2015, from 4:30-8 p.m., and Monday, April 6, 2015, from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 2 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN. Bro. Joe James officiated the service. Interment followed in the Meadowlawn Cemetery in McEwen, TN. Active pallbearers were Jimmy Burdett, Jason Parnell, Pee-Wee Anderson, Sammy Hargrove, Done Rose, Deran Bass, and Justin Tidwell.
