Mrs. Dona Kay Scott Garber, age 65, of Waverly, TN, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014, in St. Thomas Hospital West, Nashville, TN. Mrs. Garber was born March 16, 1949, in Waverly, TN, to Harrison and Dona Goad Scott. She was married to William "Richard" Garber, Sr. of Waverly. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She attended the Freewill Baptist Church. Visitation with the family was Monday, September 1, 2014, from 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday, September 2, 2014, from 10 a.m., until funeral service time at 2 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Bro. Roy Helms officiated the service. Interment followed in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly. Active pallbearers were Bill Butler, Eddie Lowe, Cecil Hunt, Franky Garber, Devin Hamm, and Richie Garber.
