Mellie Ree Brawner Jackson

Mrs. Mellie Ree Brawner Jackson, age 83, of Waverly, TN, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015, at her home, following an extended illness. Mrs. Jackson was born October 16, 1931, in McKenzie, TN, to Elie and Rhoda Ann Culver Brawner. She was married to Raymon Max Jackson. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend. She was loved and adored by her family and will never be forgotten. Mellie attended Friendship World Outreach in Waverly, TN before her health became impaired. Visitation with the family will be Monday, March 16, 2015, from 4-8 p.m., and Tuesday, March 17, 2015, from 11 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Interment will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery in New Johnsonville, TN.
