Allen C. "Corky" Moran

Mr. Allen Cordell "Corky" Moran, age 74, of New Johnsonville, TN, passed away at his home Saturday, December 13, 2014, after an extended illness. Corky Moran was born April 18, 1940, in Centerville, TN, to William Evan and Mary Merideth Moran. He was married to Eva Mae Chappell Moran. He was a retired Scale Operator for SanGravl in New Johnsonville, TN. Corky was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved to play his guitar and sing in his spare time. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, December 16, 2014, from 5-9 p.m., and Wednesday, December 17, 2014, from 11:30 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Chaplain John Smith will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Chappell Cemetery in New Johnsonville, TN.
