Bobby Lee Tiller

Mr. Bobby Lee Tiller, age 77, of Waverly, TN, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at his home. Mr. Tiller was born September 5, 1936, in Pulaski, TN, to Floyd William and Margaret Patterson Tiller. He was married to Marijon S. Young Tiller. He worked for 38 years for E.I. DuPont in New Johnsonville, TN, retiring as an I & E Supervisor. Mr. Tiller was a member of First Baptist Church of Waverly, serving in many positions including: Deacon, Maintenance Coordinator, Property and Space Committee, Long Range Planning, Kitchen Committee, R. A. Leader, Audio-Visual Committee, Golden Agers, Baptismal Committee, Usher, and Baptist Men. He was a kind, giving man and a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, August 30, 2014, from 4-8 p.m., and Sunday, August 31, 2014, from 1 p.m. until funeral service time at 2 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Dr. Richard Bray will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly. Active pallbearers will be Josh Stevens, Dalton Stevens, Jonah Stevens, Jackson Tiller, Larry Crawford, and Odell Poyner.
