Mr. Daniel "Wayne" Buchanan, age 77, of New Johnsonville, TN, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas in Nashville, TN. Mr. Wayne Buchanan was born April 26, 1937, in Waverly, TN, to Elmer Britton and Emma Theora Burns Buchanan. He was married to Betty Ruth Story Buchanan. He was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church in Nashville, TN and a retired Supervisor for the Tennessee Department of Corrections in Nashville. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, May 17, 2014, from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at 2 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Bro. Larry Baker will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Marable Cemetery in Waverly, TN. Active pallbearers will be Eddie Wiles, Zachery Story, Billy Bradford, Steve Grissin, Josh Story, and Brandon Bradford. Survivors include: Wife: Betty R.
