Mrs. Elizabeth Mead Bishop, age 90, of Waverly, TN, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Magnolia Place Assisted Living in Waverly. Mrs. Bishop was born June 19, 1923, in Red Hook, NY, to George Gordon and Fay Kennedy Mead. She was married to John Edmunds Bishop. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in New Johnsonville, TN and Episcopal Church Women at both local and Diocesean levels. Mrs. Bishop had chosen cremation and no services are planned at this time. Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Sherry Mead Bishop Hughey (James A.), Waverly, TN Clarinda Mead Bishop Abdelnour (Mark), Columbia, SC 2 Sons: John E.
