Mrs. Mildred R. Buchanan, age 83, of Waverly, TN, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014, in the Humphreys County Nursing Home in Waverly. She was born April 9, 1930, in Waverly, TN, to Paul and Florence Lescure Woods. She was married to Rufus Edward Buchanan. She was the retired owner of Buchanan's Bait Shop & Trailer Court on West Main St. in Waverly. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, April 10, 2014, from 4-8 p.m. at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Friday visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Chapel in Waverly. Bro. Jeff Keele will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN. Active pallbearers will be Ben Mayberry, Josh Roberson, Luke Roberson, Billy Roberson, Tassey Thomas, and Greg Hamm.
