James Edward Anderson

Mr. James Edward Anderson, age 88, of Waverly, TN, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014, in the Humphreys County Nursing Home in Waverly. Mr. Anderson was born January 3, 1926, in Waverly, TN, to Frank Harvill and Mattie Kathleen Bass Anderson. He was married to Norma Ann Mitchum Anderson. He was a U. S. Army Air Corps Veteran of World World II. He was a watchmaker and jeweler for Southern Furniture/Fussell's Jewelers in Waverly and he loved fishing. He joined Norma at P&M Pharmacy in Waverly after their marriage. Mr. Anderson was a member of First Baptist Church in Waverly, Waverly Masonic Lodge #304, 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, February 22, 2014, from 10 a.m. until memorial service time at 2 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Dr. Richard Bray will be officiating the service. Interment of cremains will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN. Survivors include: Wife: Norma M. Anderson, Waverly, TN Brother: Joe H.
