Wanda Dodson Adkins

Mrs. Wanda Dodson Adkins, age 78, of Waverly, TN, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly. Mrs. Adkins was born July 17, 1935, in Hurricane Mills, TN, to Franklin Gerald and LaVerne Walker Dodson. She had retired as the Humphreys County Trustee after 20 years of service. She was a member of Waverly Church of Christ, Humphreys County Chamber of Commerce, Board of Directors for the James Developmental Center, Trustee Association, and Business & Professional Women's Club. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, February 9, 2014, from 2 p.m. until memorial service time at 3 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Bro. Jeff Keele will be officiating the service. Private interment of cremains will be in the Wyly Cemetery in Waverly, TN, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Wanda had requested donations be made to the Tennessee Kidney Foundation, 2120 Crestmoor Road, Nashville, TN 37215-2613, or the charity of your choice.
