Mr. James Ray Johnson, age 85, of Kingston Springs, TN, passed away Friday, January 31, 2014, at his home suddenly. Mr. Johnson was born December 20, 1928 in McEwen, TN, to Louis L., Sr. and Gladys Yates Johnson. He was married to Peggy Jean Hooper Johnson. He was a member of Belmont Heights Baptist Church in Nashville, TN. Mr. Johnson was a retired Crossing Watchman for NC&STL Railroad in Nashville, TN. He was an avid fisherman and loved camping. Visitation with the family will be Monday, February 3, 2014, from 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday, February 4, 2014, from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN. Rev. David Deavers will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in McEwen, TN. Survivors include: Wife: Peggy J.
