Linda Wallace Chessor

Mrs. Linda Wallace Chessor, age 65, of McEwen, TN, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014, in St. Thomas Hospital Midtown, in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Chessor was born August 11, 1948, in Waverly, TN, to John Edd and Ethel Louise Dunn Wallace. She was married to Jimmy R. Chessor. She was a member of Bold Springs Church of Christ and the Telephone Pioneers. Linda was a retired Line Translation Specialist for BellSouth in Nashville, TN. She was a wonderful wife, mother, friend, and an amazing Nanny. Visitation will be Thursday, Janaury 23, 2014, from 12-9 p.m., and Friday, January 24, 2014, from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen. Bro. Joe James will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in Taylor Cemetery in Hurricane Mills, TN. Active pallbearers will be Wade Tummins, Ronnie Stewart, Jessie Wallace, Stephen Long, Steven Ross, Dr. David Ross, Timmy Wallace, and Hunter Stewart. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: Humphreys County Relay for Life, the Bold Springs Church of Christ, or the Taylor Cemetery Fund. Survivors include: Husband: Jimmy R.
