Ruth Ann Ethridge Adams

Mrs. Ruth Ann Ethridge Adams, age 73, of McEwen, TN, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at her home. Mrs. Adams was born November 21, 1940, in McEwen, TN, to Calvin and Virgie Castleman Ethridge. She was married to Cave Thomas Adams. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and a member of the Southern Methodist Church. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, January 9, 2014, from 4-8 p.m, and Friday, January 10, 2014, from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 11 a.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN. Bro. Trent Adams and Bro. Willie McLauren will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Adams Cemetery on Little Blue Creek Road in McEwen, TN. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Schletzer, Josh Ethridge, Jeremy Ethridge, Matt Adams, Adam Fuqua, Trent Adams, and Ty Adams. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Humphreys County Humane Society, 102 Young Road, Waverly, TN 37185, or to the McEwen Band Boosters.
