Mrs. Gladys Mae Stewart Duke, age 89, of Flint, MI, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013, at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc Township, MI. Mrs. Duke was born April 9, 1924, in Johnsonville, TN, to Daniel Ambers and Emma Lardelia Cash Duke. She was married to Charles Thomas Duke, Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Peoria, IL. Visitation with the family will be Friday, January 10, 2014, from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014, at 2 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Bro. Johnny Duke will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery in New Johnsonville, TN.
