Mrs. Ora Rebecca "Peggy" Stanford Florence, age 94, of Nashville, TN, and formerly of McEwen, TN, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Lakeshore Heartland in Nashville. Mrs. Florence was born May 15, 1919, in McEwen, TN, to Hugh Francis and Lillie B. Hamrick Stanford. She was married to James Blount Florence. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of McEwen. Graveside services and interment will be held Friday, January 10, 2014, at 1 p.m., at the McEwen Cemetery in McEwen, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to First United Methodist Church of McEwen or the McEwen Cemetery Fund.
