Edward Alan Farmer

Mr. Edward Alan Farmer, age 53, of Waverly, TN, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013, in the Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly. He was born December 16, 1960, in Columbia, TN, to John Gideon, Jr. and Maysel Eugenia Johnson Farmer. He was a Computer Specialist for Tennessee Valley Authority in Cumberland City, TN. Mr. Farmer was a member of the Waverly United Methodist Church, Smith Sunday School, and Methodist Men. He loved fishing, hunting, and golfing. Visitation with the family will be Friday, December 27, 2013, from 1 p.m. until memorial service time at 3 p.m., at the Waverly United Methodist Church, 115 West Main St., Waverly, TN. Pastor Phil Ross and Rev. David Spencer will be officiating the service. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Cheek, Bill Gibson, Don Harlan, David Chenault, and Scott Karner. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Waverly United Methodist Church.
