Joe A. Copley

Mr. Joe A. Copley, age 72, of Waverly, TN, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013, in NHC HealthCare in Dickson, TN. Mr. Copley was born June 25, 1941, in Albemarle, NC, to Max A. and Elizabeth Lyerly Copley. He was married to Sharon Greer Tolliver Copley. He was the retired owner of WPHC-WVRY Radio Station in Waverly, TN. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Waverly, a former member of Tennessee Broadcasters Association, Albermarle High School Alumni, Wingate University of North Carolina Alumni, and former Rotary Club member. The family has chosen cremation and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Albemarle, NC. Burial of cremains will be in the Gentry Cemetery in Shady Valley, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the charity of one's choice. Survivors include: Wife: Sharon T.
