Vet Augusta Bandy

Mr. Vet Augusta Bandy, age 90, of Hurricane Mills, TN, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013 in St. Thomas Hospital West, in Nashville, TN. Mr. Bandy was born in Lobelville, TN, on February 8, 1923, to Elmer Lee and Annie DePriest Bandy. He was married to Alice Eliza Bell Lee Bandy. He was a member of the Lobelville Church of Christ. He was a retired Night Watchman for the Tennessee Department of Transportation. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, November 9, 2013, from 1:30-9 p.m., and Sunday, November 10, 2013, from 11 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the McDonald Funeral Home, 405 Main Street, Lobelville, TN, telephone 931-593-2247. Bro. Hoyt Kirk will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery, 2400 Hwy. 13 North, Waverly, TN. Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly is in charge of all arrangements.
