Mary Sue Johnson Brooks

Mrs. Mary Sue Johnson Brooks, age 80, of Nashville, TN, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Mrs. Brooks was born in McEwen, TN, on October 30, 1933, to Louis L., Sr. and Gladys Yates Johnson. She had a business degree from Nashville Business College. She was a retired Executive Secretary for Metropolitan Housing Authority in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Brooks was a member and Elder at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Nashville, and a member of the Nashville Women's Club. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013, from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at 11 a.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Rev. Don Macon will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN.
