Clarence Duval Spence, II

Mr. Clarence Duval Spence, II, age 79, of Waverly, TN, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013, in Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mr. Spence was born in Vernon, TN, on September 1, 1934, to Claude Carmack, Sr. and Zenobia Westfall Spence. He was married to Norma Bahrns Spence. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and a United States Navy veteran. Mr. Spence was a retired mechanic for Pan Am and Philipi Excavating in Waverly, TN. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, October 3, 2013, from 1 p.m. until funeral service time at 2 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Rev. David Gray will be officiating the service. Interment of cremains will be held at a later date at the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in Nashville, TN. Survivors include: Wife: Norma B.
