Mr. Austin Alexander Gwin, age 79, of Waverly, TN, passed away Monday, September 9, 2013, in Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mr. Gwin was born August 21, 1934, in Waverly, TN, to Abner Asbury and Cora D. Smith Gwin. He was a self-employed carpenter. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, September 11, 2013, from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday, September 12, 2013, from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 11 a.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Rev. Carlton Tester will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN.
