Harvil Vincent McCrary

Mr. Harvil Vincent McCrary, age 80, of McEwen, TN, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013, in Waverly, TN. Mr. McCrary was born July 13, 1933, in Bold Springs, Tennessee, to Mack and Lillie Pearl Lomax McCrary. He was married to Katherine Patricia "Patty" Tarpy Bradley of McEwen. Mr. McCrary was a U. S. Navy, Korean War, veteran. He was a member of Hickman-Patterson American Legion Post #34 in Waverly, TN. He was a retired Correctional Officer for the State of TN Dept. of Corrections in Nashville, TN. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in McEwen, TN. Visitation with the family will be 2:30-9 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2013, and 9-10:30 a.m., Friday, at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN. Rosary service will be Thursday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be held Friday, August 9, 2013, at 11 a.m., at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, 175 St. Patrick St., McEwen, TN. Rev. Michael Baltrus will be officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery in McEwen, TN.
