Rev. Donald Wendell Smith, age 70, of McEwen, TN, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at his home. Rev. Smith was born January 16, 1943, in West Ridge, AR, to Elbert and Ruby Saxon Smith. He was married to Charlsie Lee Shields Smith. He was a minister and member of the Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church in McEwen. He loved farming. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, August 3, 2013, from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at 2 p.m., at the Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 601 Long St. West, McEwen, TN. Interment will follow in the Knight Cemetery in McEwen, TN. Active pallbearers will be his grandchildren: Brandon Burcham, Jason Burcham, Justin Belford, Kyle Belford, Adam Belford, Brittany Craft, Thomas Craft, Paige Smith, and Bradley Buchanan.
