Rev. Edward Lee Woolum, age 83, of Waverly, TN, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Green Hills Health & Rehab in Nashville, TN, following an extended illness. He was born in Bell, Kentucky, on November 27, 1929, to Clarence and Lillie Jennings Woolum. He was married to Maxine Spoon Woolum. After Maxine Woolum passed away, he married Peggy Joyce Garber Hargis. Rev. Woolum was a retired Building Inspector for the City of Detroit and also a minister. He was a member of Christ Community Church in McEwen, TN. Interment of cremains was in Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN. A memorial service was held Sunday, June 23, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. at the Christ Community Church in McEwen. Rev. Ken Young officiated the service.
