Donald Jesse Ellison

Mr. Donald Jesse Ellison, age 68, of Waverly, TN, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2013, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born on November 28, 1944, in Nashville, TN, to Jesse Alford and Madge Forrest Ellison. He was married to Darla Jean Medley Ellison. He was a retired Construction Superintendent for Monsanto Environ-Chem Systems, Inc., and attended the Halls Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Waverly, TN. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, June 29, 2013, from 1 p.m. until funeral service time at 3 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Rev. Ray Mayo will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Waverly, TN. Active pallbearers will be G. W. Mallard, James Alfred Mallard, Mark Binkley, Andy Rainey, Kevin Hunt, and Michael Dudley. Donations may be made to the Waverly Animal Shelter or the American Lung Association.
