Carolyn Lawser Whitehead

Mrs. Carolyn Lucille Lawser Whitehead, age 73, of Lake City, FL, and formerly of Waverly, TN, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. She was born September 6, 1939, in West Palm Beach FL, to Wilbur Arthur, Jr. and Ida Lee Bryant Murray. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and she enjoyed cooking and singing. Mrs. Whitehead was a member of Lake City Baptist Temple in Lake City, FL. Local visitation will be Monday, June 24, 2013 from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 11 a.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Rev. Bill Boruff of Alabama will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Lawser Family Cemetery, 967 Traylor Branch Rd., Waverly, TN.
